I had always struggled about to give or not to give to the beggars in the underground crosswalks in Beijing, since our family and friends told us that most of those beggars were cheating and they were not in true need. Recently, while reading the story about Peter facing the beggar in Acts (3:1-10), I was inspired and thought that when I give I could at least let Jesus' name be known. So about a week ago, while Bing and I were walking in an underground crosswalk, I gave a beggar some money and told him that Jesus blesses him, hope he will believe in Jesus and be saved. Amazingly, the beggar said, "Thank the Lord!". He then told me that he has believed for over 20 years. Every night he reads a little bit of Bible no matter what. We then praised the Lord together. My heart was filled with great joy and I was in awe of God's great wonders!

微博上看到的多是负能量的消息，常常觉得中国就是在一个绝望的处境当中。现在我知道，神没有放弃中国，反而正在兴起一只属神的军队：
神卻揀選了世上愚拙的、叫有智慧的羞愧．又揀選了世上軟弱的、叫那強壯的羞愧．神也揀選了世上卑賤的、被人厭惡的、以及那無有的、為要廢掉那有的．使一切有血氣的、在神面前一個也不能自誇。（哥林多前書1:27-29）
